Heat oil/ghee in wok on medium flame till hot enough. Add cumin seeds followed by whole garam masala till you can smell its aroma. Then add finely chopped onions while stirring occasionally until they turn golden brown colour.

Add ginger-garlic paste sauteed till fragrant then sprinkle salt as per taste along with red chilli powder stir everything together for another minute or two before adding palak puree. Cook palak masala till it leaves oil & starts leaving the sides of wok.

Step Four: Cooking Chicken Pieces

Add marinated chicken pieces to Palak Masala Gravy that has been cooked until oil separated, stir everything together and cover with lid cook for about 15-20 minutes on low flame until chicken is tender.
